My kids love going to this camp. They went to Aloha camp the first time and the second year they went to space and adventure camp. They loved it so much. We told another family member and their daughter went the space and adventure camp with our kids. We as a family went to the Family camp which was for the first year and had a blast. I would recommend this camp to anyone looking for a great place to have kids spend part of summer doing new and exciting activities. A plus in my book. My kids can't wait for next year. They want to stay even longer next time.
My family and I spent the weekend at Camp Nawakwa and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The cabins were comfortable, the kitchen was clean and the staff was very accommodating. We will return again as a family for the weekend.
My daughter was a camper this past summer and she had a great experience. My youngest will be going this summer for the first time and she can not wait.
My son went to survivor camp and my daughter did splash camp. My son begged me not to leave but he had the best time. My daughter has been singing songs all day. Both of my kids want to go back next year. Thank you to all the camp staff for your hard work to make it a great time for the kids. Your positive attitude was much appreciated. See you next year.....thank you for all the pictures.
Our Boys were part of the Operation Purple at Camp Nawakwa and from the moment we picked them up they talked up a storm about all the GREAT things they did. My 17 yr old was hesitant about going at first but after he said "Mom I'm so glad I went. It was cool!". Our boys enjoyed all the activities and they said the staff was so friendly and awesome. 2 months after camp they are still chatting with the kids they met a camp. This mom is very happy that our boys walked away with some great memories and great friendships.
Our children Natasha and Tony thoroughly enjoyed Camp Nawakwa! They loved the camp grounds, the cabins, their counselor and the various activities (swimming, canoeing, camp games, archery, and hikes). They came home singing all the songs they learned and sharing their wonderful adventures! They made many friends and will forever remember their fun experience. We were thrilled to see all the photos posted every day on Facebook during the week. We loved seeing their happy faces. The staff were very well organized with processing the kids, especially, Camp Nurse Mama Opo. Pickup was a breeze as well. Camp Director Engine was very organized and professional. Thank you for the awesome group photo keepsake. Our kids can't wait to go again!
Camp Nawakwa <3... It's all in the name, Beautiful place "In the midst of the forest" to get married.
The whole experience is authentic. Get out, hike a little, get dirty, hear the silence and see the stars. My family loves Camp Nawakwa, we hope you will enjoy it too!
My kids had the time of their life! They're still singing camp songs and talking about going next year!!!
We attended a retreat there with a group of people...the kitchen and dining area were perfect for the mountains. I think the chef helped make it an even better weekend by keeping us full with great food!
My son just returned from a week at pirate camp at Camp Nawakwa. He is 9 now, but also attended the Aloha week last year when he was 8. They do a great job with everything, he had a great experience both years. The ratio of staff to campers is high so there is plentiful supervision, and lots of fun activities that keep them busy the whole week.
